捐獻 (donation) 是一種投資。

上次有人問及捐獻，

是不是捐獻能夠減稅？ YES!

還是說反正這部分錢也留不住，交給 IRS 不如交給我知道的組織？ YES!!

我記得有個老美講，想通過捐款的方式留住更多的錢在自己的腰包裏是不可能的。 YES!!!

既然如此，個人以為，同樣的錢，給誰不是給？ Why do I have to keep sending my hard earned $$ to Uncle Sam who has already asked for too much from me and never appreciated my giving?  :-((   depressed enough!

Personally, I treat donation as a good investment, by which good friendship, connection and network can be built up in return. Don’t overlook those hidden opportunities. 勁得使在刀刃上。 Further more, 不敢說造福人類 （心有餘而力不足），但求助人為樂。 幫人嘛，也得幫到點子上不是？ 一片麵包 to 海蒂，勝過一米 to 皇帝。

Not mentioning, hopefully, I could become a bit famous one day, haha :-)) . might not like Bill Gates, but… you get my point, don’t you?
