Accusation is at its worst form by western media toward China.
I don’t believe anymore in media fairness after 911, but I was still surprised to see how western media lean so much to the Pro Tibet, to a point that media became the propaganda outlet for them. Just look at these accusations and think for two seconds.
1. Chinese genocide of Tibetan culture.
We all know the world is becoming smaller and we even use a term global village. Anyone who ever go to any Chinese city would find them so modern and so westernized, and people like it or not, accept it as a fact of life, just like we all do. Societies evolved and change itself all the time, some like it, some like it not. That is the fact of life, what do we do about it? Go out and kill some people and burn down some shops? If this is not the behaviors we can accept, how can we blame on Chinese government? Accusing the genocide of Chinese government is really an accusation without thought or worse hypocrite, when western culture is taking over China like rolling out a carpet. Please be fair, has Tibetan culture suffered more than any other Chinese culture? and who is pushing the button? Not many are innocent here.
2. Tibetans is refused food, water and electricity.
Media is happy to report some Tibetans who are in walking hunger strike to Canberra. It is another good example is media irresponsible in its reporting, is it real that people refused food and water and electricity? I highly doubt it. It is possible that people got no money to pay for them, but this happen everywhere, even in Australia. Is it a really a big deal for poor people live without those essentials? If it is, you can protest to any leader or government, including “peace loving” Dalai Lama.
3. Tibetans who lives in Tibet were scare to go out because they would get shot.
Even Tibetan group said that there were hundred something got kill, and if Chinese army just shoot at anyone, they must be either using toy guns or they are bad shooters, or someone is telling the story.
