As many, I knew his name by another song "Country Road" but this one i heard later tells me more about his style. of singing and his peculiar voices as if you feel he is always singing, from a top of a mountain he stands. It's hard to tell how and why he wrote this song, but it is true that very few singer put Shanghai, a city name, into their song, And the later where he might stayed one night or two, reminded or inspired his feeling of love.
