後記：
       八十年代初美國國家花樣滑冰冠軍弗萊明在北京首都體育館人工冰場表演，中央電視台播放了相關藝術紀錄片，伴隨優美畫麵的音樂是七十年代獲奧斯卡獎的著名電影《Love Story》同名插曲《Love Story》。非常喜歡這首歌，以至於陸續收集了包括Andy Williams、Johnny Mathis、鄧麗君、甄妮等人演唱的多達七個版本的CD和MTV。
        影片《Love Story》講述富家子弟奧利弗和一位普通麵包師的女兒簡真誠相愛。奧利弗不顧家庭的反對毅然結婚。婚後的生活很幸福，兩人在經濟拮據情況下奧列弗自力更生完成了自己的碩士學業。畢業後，奧利弗成了一名掛牌律師，經濟上有了起色，兩個年輕人的新生活剛剛開始，可愛的妻子簡卻身患絕症離他而去。影片結尾，他一個人孤獨地來到兩人曾經一起遊玩的溜冰場，看著潔白的冰雪，奧利弗不禁深深懷念過去那一段段甜蜜溫馨的往事……
        片中的對白“Love means never having to say you are sorry”在70年代曾成為西方情侶傳頌不衰的經典。
        該片獲得1970年奧斯卡最佳原創音樂獎。
