千山鳥飛絕，
萬徑人蹤滅，
孤舟蓑笠翁，
獨釣寒江雪。

Over all the mountains no bird flies,
Upon all the trails no man hikes,
Only a lonely boat and an old man wearing hey,
fishing on a river with snows from sky

Birds into extinction in all mountains fly
On no path in the world do human traces lie
In a lonely boat sits an old man in bamboo and hay
fishing alone on a cold river when snow falls from the sky

風麗原譯：

In the mountains, no birds fly
On the paths, all souls die
The lonely boat and I,
fishing on the freezing river, so sigh~~~
