[音樂少年天才]Alexander Prior ， 一位傑出的年青指揮，作曲家（17歲)

Alexander Prior出生在一個混血家庭, 母親俄國人，父親英國人，很小他就顯示出對音樂的敏感，分別在英國俄國接受音樂訓練。 8歲開始作曲，到現在已經有40多首作品，其中包括：交響曲，協奏曲，兩部芭蕾舞，兩部歌劇等等（詳見下）， 12歲就在BBC年輕作曲家比賽中出類拔萃， 今年被任命西雅圖交響樂團的指揮助理，下月將在倫敦指揮英國皇家愛樂樂團（LPO）並帶領其他幾位從世界各地挑選來的少年音樂天才為倫敦觀眾獻上一場精彩的音樂會， 這幾位音樂天才分別是：Nathan Chan；Simonepoter; Zhang Xiaoming; Michael Province。

Alex Prior (born 5 October 1992 in London, England) is a music composer and conductor, who studies at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory. In 2010, he was appointed as a member of the conducting staff of the Seattle Symphony 

Born in London to a Russian mother and British father, Alexander Prior’s passion for music stood out from a very young age. He began composing at the age of eight and he has now written more than 40 works, including symphonies, concertos, two ballets, two operas and a Requiem for the children of Beslan. His music has been performed by respected musicians and ensembles, and Alex has been the recipient of several prestigious composition awards - at 12 he was the youngest commended in the BBC Young Composer Competition. As he began piano lessons, his musical abilities flourished. He later enrolled in the junior department of the Royal College of Music. At 13, he entered the Saint Petersburg Conservatory where he is in his third year, studying composition with Professor Boris Tishchenko and conducting with Professor Alexaner Alexeev.
