The difference between what you want and what you need

actually i can hardly catch what the pastors say every time when i am in the church, but i can normally catch some important words. like this time, i have been thinking about 'the difference between what you want and what you need'. the pastor said that God will always give you what you need, but may not give you what you want. this sentence makes me to think about if God gives me what i need. i also think about that why i'm always unhappy. i say to myself that 'you should think more about what you need, but not what you want'. what's what i need now? a car, a job which i can enjoy, a man who can give me a family.......
