One family friend of mine experienced complication during a surgery and she was in hospital ICU for 8 days. Each day, we counted with worry and asked the god to give her back. She is so young and she can't go. She has two young kids to take care. After days and days of waiting, she finally got her own breath back. Thanks god!
Saw her not long ago in her party, she was so happy and active. Days later, she was motionless on hospital bed with tubes in her mouth and neck. I can't believe how fragile a human could be. She could experience live and death in days and luckily came back. How about us?
I have experienced several car accidents (bad enough to total two cars but good enough to leave me unhurt). All these happened at the time when I was in low mood, in confused emotion, or under stress. My life could be in other place just in seconds. How fragile we could be? Nothing worth a life, no money, no job, no relationship, no opinion deserves that. I am the only one to make that choice every day and need to make conciously everyday. Learn to love myself.
