connecting the dots
(maybe it's just deja vu, but i thought i already used this title once. no??)
寫手
寫手 can be translated literally to "writing hand(s)". has it ever occurred to you how genius-y this categorization is?
so we all have hands, and when you choose to use them to write - online specifically - your hands become the writing type. our writing can be downright ghastly but no worries since we don't claim to be a write-R. i'm just some plain old hands that itch to write - my hands are just fine!
aristocrats
this is a film from 2(?) years ago - it's about bunch of comedians telling a really dirty joke - they each have their spin on the joke.
so i caught part of it on HBO last night. you know it's supposed to be that the joke is really filthy but once you are over the initial shock, you are supposed to think it as hilarious. maybe i'm just more rigid than i give myself credit for - i think the joke is REPULSIVE. i don't particularly enjoy dirty jokes but i can take them and occasionally think they are funny - if told dexterously. however i watched this film last night for about 20 some minutes and just had to turn it off - because it TURNED ME OFF. YUCK! and just in case you are curious, let me just warn you that calling this joke dirty is like saying american food tastes better than french. the joke stoops really really LOW. nice punch line though.
