Know Thyself

I wish I knew then what I know now … about myself.

 

知己知彼百戰不怠。And it should really be made public knowledge that the first part – know thyself – is the harder of the two tasks.

 

至少敵人是在山外，沒有烏雲礙眼的時候總可以窺得一二。

 

而自己永遠是 biased。並且 emotional。並且千變萬化。剛剛覺得對自己了解得多了一點 BAM 一切都變了還要從頭想起。

 

天性沒辦法違背。不喜歡自己的地方也要承認。如果假裝的話到頭來辛苦的還是自己。

 

所以不如 accept the imperfection and make peace with it。

 

And here’s the kicker – how come I didn’t get a user’s manual of myself when I was born?

 

Unfair.
