台中菩薩寺

 

鬧市裏的隱秘寺廟，轉個身，就能看到佛。

藏在台中市區裡的隱秘寺院—菩薩寺，美學大師蔣勳評價這是一座會呼吸的建築。2005年，住持慧光法師創立菩薩寺，和建築師江文淵一起設計建造，捨棄傳統寺廟的大門與佛堂，也不提供香客焚香，以清水模板和水循環係統，讓植物、空氣、陽光、雨水進到寺院裡，隔絕鬧市裡的紛擾，質樸而自然。

International Bodhisattva Sangha is a temple hiding in the downtown of Taichung. Chiang Hsun praised it as a breathing building. The temple was founded by Master Hueiguang, who is now the abbot, built the temple together with architect Wen-Yuan Chiang in 2005, abandoning the traditional doors and halls of temples, and not offering incense burning. It is a simple and natural place, isolated from the disturbances of the city.
