SpaceX發動機設計大師Tom Mueller

Tom Mueller 11月30日在推特上宣布退休。

他也是掩映在Elon Musk光環下，很少被媒體報道的真正英雄式人物。他牽頭設計的MERLIN發動機，是火箭公司的關鍵技術。

He was a founding employee of SpaceX, an American aerospace manufacturer and space transportation services company headquartered in Hawthorne, California.

He is best known for his engineering work on the TR-106 and SpaceX rocket engines. He is considered one of the world's leading spacecraft propulsion experts and holds several United States patents for propulsion technology.

He attended the University of Idaho where he earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
