片中主人翁孫啟誠先生出生於上海，16歲移民美國。法學院畢業後從事律師職業，後在紐約華人區創辦國寶銀行。

這部片子，真實記錄了國寶銀行在金融危機後被起訴的經曆。影片獲得第90屆奧斯卡紀錄片獎提名。

紀錄片簡介：Abacus: Small Enough to Jail is a 2016 American documentary film directed by Steve James.^[2] The film centers on the Abacus Federal Savings Bank, a family-owned community bank situated in Manhattan's Chinatown in New York Citywhich, because it was deemed "small enough to jail" rather than "too big to fail", became the only financial institution to actually face criminal charges following the subprime mortgage crisis.^[3]
