Loving life has nothing to do with how your destiny is arranged

This is a true story told by one of my colleagues.
A 92-year-old woman who loved life had just lost her husband of 70 years. She was legally blind and so needed to move into assisted living. She still woke up every morning, put on makeup, fixed her hair and was ready for the day by 8 am. Today was move-in, and the 1st time she would see her room. Her nephew came to pick her up and began talking all about her new home, all the facilities and amenities and the tight-knit community. He then began describing her room in detail, starting with the view and going on to furniture then color when the woman interrupted, “I love it!” she said.
“But Aunt Mable you have not even seen it yet”, said her nephew.
“I know child, but loving my room has nothing to do with how it’s arranged, it has to do with how I arrange my mind”
Morale of this story: Loving life has nothing to do with how your destiny is arranged, it has to do with how you arrange your mind.
"Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." by Forrest Gump
