關於這首歌歌詞的解析：
Hallelujah原本是praise the Lord 的意思。
人在遇到挫折和遭受打擊的時候容易想到上帝。
這世界唯一不會腐朽的愛，是聖愛。
這首歌分明是在借聖愛而言男女之愛。
這裏的Hallelujah是戀情結束後，心裏本能發出的一種呐喊，除了表達：
“我痛，我痛，我痛啊痛！”，“救我，救我，誰來救我！”，並無太多的深意。
耶穌被釘在十架上的時候也很痛，不但很痛，而且還流了很多血，最後血被滴盡而死。
嘴裏喊著Hallelujah或Jesus的未必就是基督徒，就和現在人們用爛了的Oh My God一樣。
當然，這裏的確表達了作者對愛情的失望，以及失戀後的茫然和悵惘。
