你才是太謙虛了。你能長期堅持借到這麽多美好的花獻給眾佛，絕非易事。你好一似優秀的編輯。編輯也是借花獻佛。但你能說他是在做小事嗎？打鐵先要本身硬，自己沒有高水平就沒有慧眼辨珠的本事，編輯也是做不好的。你能源源不斷地選擇、編輯，然後再奉獻出這麽多好的學習資料，讓我深感吃驚和折服。你那些資料都好比是從高級飯店買來的由高級廚師做現成的美味佳肴，我這些隻不過是廚藝平平的家庭主夫自己做成的粗茶淡飯。你那些都是令人唇齒留香的精美套餐，我這些隻不過是味同嚼蠟的家常便飯，乃至即興而食的小吃和快餐，說不定吃後會令人反胃也未可知。你奉獻的這些學習資料質高量大，隻可惜我現在的精力大不如從前，否則我會盡量多讀一些。嗯，提到這裏，我告訴你，昨天晚上我一直在你的博客裏尋尋覓覓，欣賞好聽的歌。由於你我之間長期以來親密互動結下的特殊情誼，才連帶性地對你的博客產生了特殊的興趣，真可謂愛屋及烏。從前我對網上的英文歌曲，包括你發的在內，完全視為與己無關。自從你那幾次專門為我發歌曲之後，就逐漸開化了，現在已經做到凡是你發的歌曲我必聽。不是嗎，我還把個別喜歡的歌詞翻譯成詩歌嗎？從你這裏聽到的英文歌至今雖然還不算多，但這已經超過了我自從學習英語以來四十多年所聽英語歌曲的總合。 謝謝你吧，否則我還是個英語歌曲盲。太土老冒了！拉拉雜雜有聊了這麽多，下次再聊。

你對自己太謙虛，對我太過獎了。
我隻不過做了些借花獻佛，或移花接木的小事情。跟你隨便那個作品相比，都可忽略不計。不過我還得多謝你的鼓勵，做些自己力所能及的事情。對好事，不能因小而不為之。

你真棒！為大家奉獻了這麽好的一個袖珍“辭典”。說老實話，起初看這個題目我本不以為然，因為這類東西很多。可是你這些與眾不同，點擊一下，立即別有洞天。看上去不起眼的一個單詞，原來有那麽豐富的內涵。這使我想起小時候在田裏刨花生。一棵花生秧子在地麵上本不起眼，可是一刨開地麵，下麵是那麽多的花生，令人驚喜不已。說到這裏，我考你一個小問題，請別介意，你會說我把你當小孩子看了。就是花生的花在地上，怎麽果在地下？其實把你這些詞比花生，太小氣了。應該比成地下宮殿，本來在地麵上是一個極普通的土堆，可是開發到地下，原來金碧輝煌，奇珍異寶，令人目不暇接。還是要說感謝你。感謝你的辛勤勞作。向你學習致敬。記得你對我說過"take my hat off to you",現在該輪到我對你說了，現在是我對你摘帽子（表示敬意）的時候了。
