What is a Playlist?

Playlists are collections of videos that can be watched on YouTube, shared with other people, or embedded into websites or blogs. "Favorites" is your default Playlist, but you can create as many as you want.





How do I make a Playlist?

From the video watch page:

1. Click on the "Save to Favorites" link under the video you're watching.
2. From the dropdown menu, choose "[New Playlist]", and click "OK." You'll be taken to a page where you can set the properties for your Playlist.
3. Click the "Save Playlist Info" button. You'll be returned to the video watch page and the video will automatically be added to your new Playlist.

From your QuickList:

1. Go to the "QuickList" page (http://www.youtube.com/watch_queue).
2. Remove any videos that you don't want to have in your Playlist
3. Click the "Save as Playlist" link at the bottom of the video list.

From your Account:

1. Go to your Playlists directly by clicking the "Playlists" link near the top right of most pages, or go to the "My Account" page (http://www.youtube.com/my_account) and click on the "Playlists" link in the "Videos" section.
2. Click the "Create Playlist" button and set the properties for your Playlist.
3. Click the "Save Playlist Info" button. You'll be returned to the "My Playlists" page and can begin adding videos.

How do I embed playlists on my website or blog?

To embed a playlist, follow the steps below:

1. Go to the "Playlists" section of your account (http://www.youtube.com/my_playlists).
2. Select the playlist you'd like to embed.
3. Copy the embed code from the upper right corner.
4. Paste the code into your website or blog.

How do I search for a Playlist?

To find a specific Playlist, enter your search terms in the Search box at the top or bottom of the YouTube page. When you get to the search results page, click the "Playlists" link at the bottom of the page. This will refine the search to only show results which relate to Playlists and should allow you to find the specific Playlist more easily.

目前，我們在線所看到的視頻，基本都是flv的文件了。
如果播放下載後的flv文件，必須安裝一個flv player.但這種播放器大都很簡陋，
有的甚至連縮放功能都沒有。

其實你要是已經安裝了 media player classic(player),就可以直接用它打開flv文件觀賞了，
而且顯示的質量甚至更好些。

關於flv的文件下載。大陸的網站普遍比較吝嗇，通常都加以保護，無法直接下載。
就是用在線的解碼網站提取下載鏈接，很多也不能成功。在這種情況下，隻好從遊覽器的
臨時文件夾裏把它找出來。

打開ie的臨時文件夾方法（ie7）：

遊覽器的功能欄： tools > inernet options > setting of Browsing History> View files

一般情況下，都能找到在線觀看時下載過的那個flv文件。但有時候，文件不馬上顯示出來，
需要過一會兒才冒出來。

firefox臨時文件夾的位置（xp）：

"C:Documents and SettingsOwnerLocal SettingsApplication Data
MozillaFirefoxProfilesg1tk55ml.defaultCache";

不過這裏的文件都沒有後綴。需要從文件的size 和 建立的時間上去確定所要找的那個文件，
然後加上一個 .flv 結尾的後綴，播放一下確認，就可以保存起來了。

關於直接下載的問題。
有時候，在下載器裏（如flashget）,下載的文件隻顯示了文件的size就失敗停住了/有的隻
下載了一部分就再也不動了。時間長了，你會看到很多這樣的殘疾文件在下載窗口裏。要是找不到其它的鏈接從新下載，你就難受吧。

其實，很多這樣的鏈接是“ 裝死”。如果你把文件的名字整理一下，很多會蘇醒過來，
繼續下載下去。

整理的要點：

1。文件名字開頭和字母/字中間不要有多餘的空格。

2。如果1的整理後不成功，把名字的最後一個字/字母和文件後綴之間空一個格再試。

我用這樣的方法拯救很多看似死鏈的下載.當然，這也不是100% 的解決下載假死的問題。

誰有其它的經驗，希望也介紹分享一下。

How to download YouTube video clip:

Just add "kiss" before "youtube" in side the URL of the video clip and it becomes the URL where you can download the video clip.

In this example, the orginal video URL is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYgtUvgYi8U

Now add "kiss" before youtube in the above URL, and it becomes:
http://www.kissyoutube.com/watch?v=YYgtUvgYi8U

One can then download the video from the new URL.

There you drop in the url of the youtube page and select the file format you want. A few min later, you have a link to the converted file that you can download.
