After reading Lincoln's midlife crisis, it downs on self that own midlife crisis seems coming earlier than most men, which is after passing 40. The marriage crisis unwillingly throw inner world out of balance and in total turbulance, prompting self think many aspects of life. There are confusion, rage over others, remorse to self, deep struggle. It lets self realize the long-rooted fear about many things in own life. And self will die some day. On relationships. On next generation. On holidays. Lincoln finally came out of this crisis period like a butterfly from a chrysalis. It seems he had transformed himself by thinking through his life, the country and other important things in his life.People get strong after these struggles. It took Lincoln five years to do this. So a constant inner struggle is needed. If you are not through, you are not through. There is no easy way out on this.
