In China Again

I am in China again. Maybe I have been back too many times. There was no longer the excitement or the anticipation. Nevertheless, I fell into the usual trap. I stared at my phone wanting to call. I gave myself excuses, I only wanted to wish someone a happy birthday. But I stopped short. I knew it wasn't a good idea.

My work here is frustrating as usual. I usually can only last for a week here. There is a big gap betweeen where things are and where I wanted them to be. I have the feeling of escaping China everytime.

I will be joining a team of hikers tomorrow on a trek. That'll be fun. It has been so long since my last trek here.
