Missing Nadal

As you know, Roger Federer won the Aussie open 2010. Upon hearing the news, I can't help missing Nadal, the guy who gave us a great match and beat Federer last year. It was such a great match. Both guys pour their hearts out and left everything on the court. The tennis they produced was at such a high level. The most memorable moment came at the ceremony. Federer cried when he was trying to address the crowd. He gave it all but it was still not enough. What touched me was that Nadal put his arm around Federer and comforted him. Nadal knew how Federer felt b/c he went through heart breaking losses himself before, some at the hands of Federer. He can step back from himself and relate to his opponent's disappointment. The show of empathy touched me. I had always preferred Federer until that match. I became a Nadal fan since then. I hope he gets better soon and play a few more great matches against Federer.
