　　海軍某測量船船長鄭冀當年是東江基地的測量船船長，在一次執行任務時出現了沉船事故，導致老戰友魯淮成的妻子女工程師高明豔犧牲。農民梅得貴的妻子難產被送到城裏的醫院，孩子夭折。麵對生命垂危的妻子，梅得貴為安慰妻子抱走了魯淮成托付鄭妻許欣芳的女兒，但卻並沒有能夠挽救妻子的生命，當他想送還孩子的時候，卻找不到了許欣芳，又因內心害怕將孩子抱回了農村家中，取名梅杏兒……
