一個養育之恩，一個一生重擔
兩段手足之情，換來雙重犧牲
丁善本（羅嘉良）在澳洲公幹時邂逅了程天藍（宣萱）。回港後，本卷入了一宗金鋪劫案中，檢控官正是藍……
本六歲時，父母因沉船意外雙歿，弟不知所蹤。本為丁榮邦（秦沛）所救。邦視本如親子，把金業交給他打理，本卻因邦與犯罪集團勾結而被懷疑接收賊贓。本想不到，拘捕自己的竟是親生弟弟鍾守康（溫兆倫）！本與藍的關係僵住了，其後雖水落石出，本的家庭背景卻始終妨礙著二人的發展。本因邦而多次與康發生衝突。本為免影響的前途，決定不與康相認。另方麵，本知道康鍾情於藍後，忍痛抽身。
未幾邦去世，本為報答邦，決心斬斷家族生意與黑道的關係，卻因在過程中不得不采取非法手段而被藍及康誤會。本麵對親弟不能認，遇上真愛不能愛。更甚者，連義弟丁善行（林峰）亦懷疑本殺父謀產。為了手足情，本將已走入正途的家族生意拱手讓給行。本漸漸得到康及藍的諒解時，卻因行重回黑道而再次卷入江湖鬥爭中。本最後不惜犧牲自己……
