my little one can do many things now

he can understand me such as pick up the book on the floor, imitating me trying to feed his brother water while he is asleep.(because the big one not very well these days so he kept asking water, I gave him while he is in bed which is seen by the little one) how about the big one? I showed him how to switch on the heater in case he get up early than me. The next day he did not know I had switched on it so went to do it, I found out because I noticed that the chair was moved. These days I have been trying to teach him write the Christmas cards for his mates at the nursery. Sometimes I just cannot help and hit him, poor boy, he will cry. I feel sorry and guilty now.
