不難的事情。 terracoat. Need to hang scaffold.
But scaffold need to hang from neighbor's property. On top of his storage shed.
We had a meeting with the neighbor, designer, gc, and my guy. Neighbor mentioned that it has leaks. So I was quite cautious about the structure. The main beam looks a bit sagging. So I asked the architect to look. Architect said ok.
Either way, I had stated in my proposal that an engineer should look at the structure and tell me whether it is strong enough to hold the live loads.
Project manager thinks I was not professional to ask the architect to look at the shed. I told her I am not qualified, the only person seems to qualify is the architect. Then PM told me he's not registered RA, just an interior designer. I said, well, better have someone else to look at it, in case anything happened.
That was a week ago.
PM told me today that they found out the neighbor is a lawyer. So the owner decided to hire his own engineer to look at the structure. So I told PM, I am experienced. That's the right way to do things.
And in washing the facade, it is interesting that after power wash, the brownstone loses its brownness. Same as acid wash. - Is there a way to tint it? If there is, it would be nice to know.
