hit & run question again

I have bought collision ($250 deductible) and uninsured motorist propertydamage/bodily injury. Which one will be used if I claim to the insurance company. If the collision is used, I have to pay the deductible. If the uninsured is used, the insurance company will cover all of the repair. Is my understanding correct?
