My Opinion on the Casino Games

1.                  Certain slot machine does have very little house edge.  In the business we talk about 9, 6 video poker machine.  9 is referring to full-house pays 9 to 1.  6 is referring to flush pays 6 to 1.  Most casinos got rid off this type of machines.  You can still find those in the downtown Las Vegas casinos.  (Duce Wild Video Poker machine is another good choice.)

 

2.                  Blackjack basic strategy is an excellent tool to play the blackjack game.  The most favorable BJ game is Las Vegas Double Deck.  The game allows the player to double down after split.  Some casinos allow player to split 3 times into 4 separate hands.  The differences between single deck, double deck, 6 deck etc are more than you can imagine.  I will talk about the basic strategy, money management and card counting in separate article.

 

3.                  Craps has several wagers that favor to the player.  For example, place bets on 6 and 8.  Don’t Come is another good wager since there are more chance to get 7.  Stay away from big 6 and big 8.   

 

4.                  On Baccarat game, the Banker side has slice advantage than the Player side.  That is reason why house charge 5% vig on all Banker wining. 

 

5.                  Pai Gow is another example of player advantage.  If the player is banking the game, player wins on the copy hands.  That apply to Pai Gow Poker and Pai Gow Tile.  That is reason why casino does not allow the player to bank the game consecutively.

 

6.                  Roulette is not as favorable as other games.  The mathematic formula behind the game is called “uniform distribution.”   Plus there are 0 and 00 on the game.  American Roulette has 00.  There are only 3 casinos in Vegas has single 0 Roulette.  Only Stratosphere has single 0 at lower table limit. 

 

7.                  I don’t consider the Poker is a casino game.  Same apply to the sports book.  If you know you have strong hands of course you will bet more money.  You just hope other people’s strong hand is weaker than yours. 

 

8.                  Bingo is a very interesting casino game.  It is the only game in the casino that has negative house edge.  The purpose of the game is to let the player playing slots in between the sections.
