Celebrating Chinese New Year Eve at Alice's home, Feb.9,2013

This year Chinese New Year is on the weekend allowing us to celebrate.On the Chinese New Year Eve, we were invited to go over to Alice's home to celebrate with her family and some other friends.Jane and Jonas, Louis, me and baby, Aaron we have six people to go over to their house in the north of Mississauga. Cicily and family were there when we arrived by driving two cars.It was so happy to get together with old friends and caught up with things. We chat and exchanged information. And watched the Chinese New Year show by CCTV.Alice and her father prepared a big feast for us-so many delicious home made food-wow, yummy!There are roasted ducks, steamed pork bones, steamed lotus roots, steamed fish, sticky rice cake, all kinds of cold dishes, Jane made spicy beef cold dish, Cicily brought mild beef cold dish, I brought BBQ pork ribs and small potatoes, and another table with deserts, snacks and fruits.We enjoyed the delicious food. And enjoyed the company as well as the friendship. Kids played in the downstair. Chinese New Year is always involving food, friendship, and the family-frineds re-union. We spent a merry , enjoyable Chinese New Year eve of 2013-the year of snake.
