【內容介紹】:

該劇是CSI和《Sex And The City 欲望都市》的混血兒，根據係列神秘小說1st to Die, 2nd Chance, 3rd Degree, 4th of July and The 5th Horseman改編。該劇的作者顯然是一個女權運動者，他認為女性要想在男性為主的領域裏（比如犯罪調查）有所建樹，隻有團結起來相互協作。舊金山警探Lindsay Boxer (Angie Harmon, Law & Order)能在很短的時間內分析完一個犯罪現場並得出正確結論，但是她卻不善於開展後續調查，以致將一名罪犯定罪需花上幾個月甚至幾年的時間。周圍的男同事們都取笑她，這讓她深感鬱悶。為了提高破案效率，她召集了一個全部由女性組成的非官方專家組－－一位驗屍官，一位報紙記者，一位地區檢察官的助手。但是作為女人，他們的私人生活和職業生活又總是糾纏不清，所以她們成了相互依靠的好朋友。她們在一起解決了一起又一起棘手的謀殺案，但隨之而來的是，她們各自的愛情生活也出現了危機，一些意想不到的事情發生了……
