【劇情簡介】：
　　故事發生在新墨西哥州。故事的主角是一個化學老師Walter White (Bryan Cranston飾演)中學化學老師，少言寡語、性格溫馴、安分守己、循規蹈矩，如你我一般的平凡得不能再平凡的小人物。
　　妻子Skyler White(Anna Gunn飾演)又懷孕了，還有一個癱瘓的兒子。White被診斷患了晚期肺癌，隻剩下兩年的時間。為了保證家庭將來的經濟來源，White鋌而走險，利用自己豐富的化學知識，決定創建製毒實驗室，自己製造毒品，開始毒品犯罪的危險之路。該片展示了一位絕症病人如何從一介平庸中年男人變成一位大毒販。
　　他被逼上絕路，可是他又加快了自己滅亡的速度。
