◎簡　　介　

暢銷犯罪小說女作家茱迪特（芬妮·阿爾丹飾）一直在為她的下一部小說物色角色。影片開場的時候，我們看到她坐在著名的法國巴黎警察總部所在地，正在接受警察詢問，是一些和一個連續殺人凶手有關的問題。這個號稱為“魔術師”的殺手，由於他總是習慣在受害人麵前表演各種魔術而得名。根據廣播上的新聞，我們得知“ 魔術師”已經從一座戒備森嚴的監獄裏逃了出來。接下來是在巴黎一家豪華理發廳任職的女理發師於格特（奧德瑞·達娜飾），她和男友爭吵一場之後被拋棄在高速公路上的一處加油站，然後遇到了一位神秘的陌生人（多米尼克·皮諾飾），他似乎是迫不及待地要和人搭訕。難道他就是那位置人於死地的“魔術師”嗎？
