【內容簡介】：　每一個人的成長經曆往往是艱苦的，特別是當您麵對死亡之時。
　　對於女主角George　Lass，生活是乏味的，每日隻是做著一些沉悶的工作，在家亦隻能夠感到少少的溫暖，莫非這個便是命運？但世事往往會令人驚喜，George在她新上任的工作中遇到意外而身亡，隨後更被選中成為在其它人臨死時出現，把靈魂帶走的死神 (Grim Reaper)。
　　從此，她便以一個全新的身份，與其它一同被選中的死神一起，執行這個非常刺激的任務。雖然死神的工作對George 而言很有新鮮感，但她卻需要時間去適應這個全新的生活，以及習慣麵對著弱小的生命死亡但卻無能為力。
