Movies: Falcon and Snowman

Both are pretty good. Jagged Edge is a thriller and it kept the suspense until the end. But its ending is kind of stupid and quick.

Falcon and Snowman is a true story to a book then a movie. This one made me thinking. The idealism and innocent of youth reminds me the brutal events carried out during Culture Revolution by Red Guards. In Chris' mind, CIA is the bad guy and Soviet Union is the place for people. When he realized Russians are not any better but even worse then Americans and wanted to quit it was too late. He has to bear the consequences of his own action. That is the difference between an American youth and Chinese Red Guards. Chris was sentenced to 40 years and his friend life in prison. It happened during Nixon's years, early 70s. Chris could be out in next few years at age 60.

Just learned from internet source that actually, Chris is out of Jail in 2003 and Lee in 98.
