Central Banks are completely punchless | mannfm11 | NEW 8/23/2007 8:28:20 AM | ||
Iposted a real good article on here last night. What the guy said and hehad been studying this stuff forever was that both the dollar and goldwould appreciate. WRS is right in the sense that all this liquidityisn't going to do any good. This is about margin and who has enoughmargin to stay in the game. Yogi put it pretty clear the other day inthat you don't answer a margin call, you get out. Well you know what?GS answered a margin call the other day and I am sure a bunch of thoseegotistical guys did. How many years in prison if this mess goes up onthe public? The question isn't central bank liquidity. It is,who is stupid enough to lend in this mess without collateral? Waituntil you see all these skeletons called corporations that have beenborrowing money and buying back their stocks. There are not a lot ofAAA companies in the SPX and they don't need money generally. Who wantsto lend to junk now? Speaking of which? You guys remember Fords largeborrowings a few months ago? Was that a stroke of genius or a lastgasp? |
