What You'll Need
- a slip dress
- one yard each of purple and magenta chiffon
- paper and pencil
- scissors

Step 1: Drawing BoardPencil the outline of a flower in a large circular shape. Draw an identical outline at half the size of the original. Cut the two shapes out.
Step 2: Color-Coat ItDouble-fold the purple and magenta fabric together. Pin each flower to the fabric, and cut along the pattern. Repeat this step six times.
Step 3: Wrap ArtistWith two pieces of the smaller flowers in varying colors on the inside, and two larger pieces on the outside, roll the fabric and sew at one end. Make six flowers total.
Step 4: Sew PrettyFold each flower out, so the different layers of fabric look like overlapping petals. Sew the flowers in a tight cluster at the top center of the dress.
