欣賞完Givenchy的時裝大片，令人強烈的感覺到，對於帝國時期曆史的景仰一定在很大程度上左右了設計師的大腦思維。

　　開場是一連串帶著大航海時代的裙裝，立領小禮服上一絲不苟地沿襲複古的樣式，有著精準的修腰弧線，在弧線上方排列著精致的小圓布扣，裙擺則高高掀起浪花一樣的卷曲，複刻著曾經張狂的航海夢想。接著則是通過眾多略帶彪悍的裝束來集中烘托鐵血風格的帝政形象，束腰蓬裙上用繚繞的線條，零散的布件，以及鬆散的披肩薄紗表現出霸道角色的豪野。對於線條的要求可謂細致苛刻，窄肩的瘦長外套，袖子延伸到過腕的長度，煙筒一樣的高腰裹腿褲管，一切看起來都垂順筆直。

　　配件的裝飾作用也不容小覷，額頭上的皮質發帶將眼神襯托得分外凶悍，扇形的領結則表現出把持權重的氣度。中世紀文人雅士推崇的有著風琴般皺褶的襯衫，輾轉至今，被注入全新的詮釋後，皺褶變得更加繁密擁擠，用不對稱的排列纏繞在身上，成為吸引眼球的視覺化作品。鞋子上的絲緞縛帶或長或短地在腳踝和小腿上，用斜十字的圖案排列，在顏色與質感上都與羽毛和厚綢布搭配得當。
