Zion National Park, Utah is often said to be one of the most beautiful places in America and is a masterpiece of towering cliffs, deep red canyons, mesas and massive monoliths.
Zion National Park is a United States National Park located in the Southwestern United States, near Springdale, Utah. A prominent feature of the 229-square-mile (593 km²) park is Zion Canyon, 15 miles (24 km) long and up to half a mile (800 m) deep, cut through the reddish and tan-colored Navajo Sandstone by the North Fork of the Virgin River.

You missed the the other essence of the park.. the streams, the canyons and narrow path that lead you to a peak that stands in the middle of the canyon....
