請問個excel的問題

i copyed a column of date into another new worksheet, but the date is formatted in the original as \'January 15, 2007, with a \' in front. and i want to formate the date as 01/15/2007, but i can not format it w/o go to each cell to delete the \' in front. but since there\'s like hundrends individual cell, i want to just use the format painter for the whole column, is there a way to do this? thank you!
