【劇情介紹】：
《北鬥雙雄》是TVB1983 年的製作，以社工的生涯作為全劇的故事背景，題材新鮮吸引。此劇集合多位現今的天王巨星，除了有兩位國際級影帝周潤發和梁朝偉大鬥演技外，亦有多位電視台的當家小生花旦，包括任達華、陳秀珠、姚煒、陳安瑩、周星馳等聯合演出。此劇對當時的年青人有極深遠影響，很多人因為看過此劇對社工這行業感到興趣，立誌要成為一位「北鬥星」。演過無數角色的影帝周潤發，也曾表示這是他從影以來最喜歡的角色。
《北鬥雙雄》的故事圍繞於凡 (周潤發) 與江浩文 (梁朝偉) 兩個原本互不相幹，生活於不同環境的人物。凡是一位電影特技人、文則是一間公司的小職員，兩人初相遇時極不咬弦，經過相處後卻成為難兄難弟。凡很愛同居女友杜綺玲 (姚煒)，但玲不喜歡凡這種無規律的工作，兩人終告分手。文因在公司內不得誌、憤而辭職，後更與凡同住。兩人加入社區中心當社工，文更因工作關係結識同為社工的康嘉欣 (陳秀珠)，繼而相愛。凡與文無意中被捲入一宗毒品案中，兩人卻毫不知情，更被黑幫殺手宋波 (任達華) 追殺。宋波一方麵對欣展開追求，一方麵要殺害凡與文，故事發展曲折，出人意表。
