As I started the journey, I am already one day behind. :)
Some thoughts on 1st day's reading:
- The book of Genesis is the foundation of the whole bible: it described the relationship between God and his creation, God and humans, humans themselves.
- 5 women mentioned in Jesus's genealogy are amzaing, especially 3 of them were considered bad :)
- Paslms is the only book in all 66 books in which we speak to God. In all other books, God speaks to us. 
- Proverbs will give me wisdom, dicipline, righteousness, and purpose of my life. Never thought about the rest except wisdom. Great first day reading!

- Quite disappointing reading the fall of man on the second day!
- Really amazed by Joseph's obedience and challenged.
- The annointed one will save us after all
- The fear of the God is the beginning of knowledge.

創世記 3:1-4:26
魔鬼利用人對上帝話語似是而非半信半疑以及自我驕傲的心態，誘惑夏娃吃了分別善惡樹上的果子，從此人類犯罪，躲避耶和華神的麵，心靈離開了神。

繼亞當夏娃之後，人類第一次犯罪是該隱由於嫉妒殺死了他的親兄弟亞伯。 可見驕傲和嫉妒是離棄上帝的萬惡之本啊！

馬太福音 2:13-3:6
-耶穌從誕生地伯利恒隨父母按照上帝的指引來到拿撒勒。
-耶穌的開路先鋒施洗約翰為眾人施洗，他“豫備主的道，修直他的路。 ”

詩篇 2:1-2:12
當存畏懼事奉耶和華，又當存戰兢而快樂。
凡投靠他的，都是有福的。
--- 信靠耶和華神，敬畏而喜樂地事奉他！

箴言 1:7-1:9
這是必須銘記在心的金句---“敬畏耶和華是知識的開端。愚妄人藐視智慧和訓誨。”

荒漠甘泉 01/02
多少信徒甘心樂意地過著礦工一般的生活－終日不見天日。他們的臉上原該膏著天上的喜樂油，可是卻抹著淚珠。他們原該在宮殿頂上散步，欣賞利巴嫩的美景，可是卻滿足於牢獄中的枯萎。醒來罷，信徒們，離開你的平地，努力向上去罷！丟去你的倦、懶、冷，以及一切攔阻你向上追求基督的。讓基督作你的源頭、你的中心，要讓他在萬有上居首位。不要滿意你目前所有的。渴望一個更高、更貴、更豐、更富的生命。向著春天！追求更近神！--- 通向天國的道路雖然是小路，但是隻要勇往直前，越往前走，就“越高越寬， 越上越寬”，而且一路都灑滿神的恩膏！

創世記 1:1-2:25
感謝神！！！感謝神的創造！！！感謝神的愛！！！
-起初神創造天地(In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.),

-各從其類(according to their kinds).

-神看著是好的(God saw that it was good.)

-神就照著自己的形像造人，乃是照著他的形像造男造女(So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.)。

-神看著一切所造的都甚好(God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. )。

-在第二章中明白了我們祖先亞當是神親手用泥土所造，並有神賜予的生命氣息，因此我們都有神的靈在心中。夏娃是亞當的妻子，他們是神創造並設立的第一對夫妻，美好的婚姻關係乃是："人要離開父母與妻子連合，二人成為一體。"

---總之，我們是神美好的創造！！我們是神的寶貝！！！我們的生命以及我們的生活是何等的有價值！！！

馬太福音 1:1-2:12
耶穌家族譜以及耶穌的誕生（這一切的事成就，是要應驗主藉先知所說的話， 說，必有童女，懷孕生子，人要稱他的名為以馬內利。）

詩篇 1:1-1:6
不從惡人的計謀，不站罪人的道路，不坐褻慢人的座位。
他要像一棵樹栽在溪水旁，按時候結果子，葉子也不枯乾。凡他所作的，盡都順利。 ---這就是基督徒的生命和生活原則，即時時刻刻都與基督聯合，都活在上帝的旨意裏。

箴言 1:1-1:6
處世為人要領受智慧，仁義，公平，正直的訓誨。

荒漠甘泉 01/01
“是耶和華你神所眷顧的，從歲首到年終，耶和華你神的眼目時常看顧那地。”--我們不能說前麵沒有損失，憂慮，試煉。我們隻能信靠。父神必從今日起伸出他大能的手來扶持我們走當走的路程。所以我們的新年是一個快樂，有福的新年! 堅定地信靠主，在主的眷顧下，我們的日子如何，力量也如何！

To: 提摩太 Thanks for sharing. 15minutes? That is for a glance only! How can we get better understanding and remember what we read? But you are right. It’s hard to keep reading if we spend too much time on it everyday. I will give a try:).

Glad to see I have fellow followers.
1. Enoch is mentioned to walk with God and God took him away. You can imagine he was obedient.
2. God blessed seventh day and made it holy. Holy means to make that day belong to God.
3. Tarmah tricked her father-in-law Judah to sleep with her and gave birth to twins (of course Judah confessed Tarmah was more righteous), Rahab was a prostitute, and Bathsheba worked with King David to get her husband killed. "bad" was inapproapriate, "blameful" maybe better.
4. The holy Bible is not one single book. It is a collection of 66 books over 1500 years span. there are 39 books in old testament and 27 books in new testament. Easier to remember if you think about 3-9-27. psalms is a book of peoms, written mostly by King David. Most of the psalms can be used as personal prayers.
5. Always remember there are two factors in the relationship between God and humans: God's creation and human's free will. God is holy, He will never design murder.

It would be impossible to read through bible in one year if you spend too much time. Probably you will give up after a few weeks. Genesis is not too bad, once you start Leviticus, you will be lost. :) 15min to half an hour is good.

Genesis 3　The Fall of ManGenesis 4　Cain and Abel
　-這是一段非常熟悉的故事。隻是有點疑問。既然神是造物主，神通曉並設計一切。那麽伊甸園所發生的一切以及Cain殺Abel應該都是神預先安排的。曆史在成為曆史之前就應該是神的設計藍圖。

Matthew 2/Matthew 3　-　Done not long ago.

Psalm 2
11 Serve the LORD with fear
and rejoice with trembling.
-　對神心存敬畏，以神的話為行為規範，時時事事都要在神的注視下，是不是給基督徒造成一種不自由的約束感？這樣會不會影響個人潛能的發揮？因為總覺得有隻眼睛看著你。。。:)

Proverbs 1:7-9
7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,
but fools [a] despise wisdom and discipline.
-這個大概能部分回答我上麵的問題:)

Q：怎樣理解“made it holy”。

Matthew 1
Q：你說：- 5 women mentioned in Jesus's genealogy are amzaing, especially 3 of them were considered bad :)。我隻發現其中一個“David was the father of Solomon, whose mother had been Uriah's wife”

Psalm 1
Q：這是“聖詩”嗎？我從沒接觸過？我查了一下是舊約裏的“詩篇”吧？Psalm是一本怎樣的書，主要講什麽？

BOOK I : Psalms 1-41
--我覺得讀Psalm有點難度，不大好懂。

讀了今天的作業，隨想幾點：
1。不知以諾怎樣與神同行？
2。感慨諾亞的年代與當今的時代有相似之處！
3。really like one sentence in the comment: What we do matters to God!
4. like this comment too:
It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'” This is such a powerful spiritual truth that Jesus is conveying - we will not live full and true lives if we live simply on bread alone. ---YES, GOD'S WORD IS MY DAILY BREAD.
5。喜歡詩篇3中：
But you are a shield around me, O LORD;
you bestow glory on me and lift up my head.

非常非常喜歡這個網站！也喜歡那些comments。 謝謝分享！隻是覺得創世紀的章節有點多，無法精讀，有點可惜。。。
