今天在當地的華人網站看到一個賣有線調製解調器的，廣告列著型號：Cisco Linksys BEFCMU10， 最新版本： Latest VER.4 (Comcast). 要價＄１５。
注意賣家專門用括號寫了有線服務商 COMCAST，這也是吸引我的原因。我家就是用的這個有線服務商的上網服務。雖
然我已經有了摩托羅拉的有線調製解調器，但再買個備用的也挺好，以免自己的那個壞了的時候抓瞎。
當然，買東西之前要做詳細的調查，特別是電子產品，才能避免不必要的煩惱。於是到AMAZON去做調研。用那個型號
搜尋的結果顯示新貨賣＄８９。也就是說＄１５的價格還算不錯。
接下來看消費者點評，褒貶不一，這很正常。不過有一點引起了我的注意:
頭頁的點評，一個是2002年的，另外兩個是2005年的。怎麽會這樣？最近買了的人看法如何呢？於是我就進到所有點
評，然後重新索引，讓最新的點評列在第一位。這一下看到了一個關鍵點評，讓我決定放棄！

My BEFCMU10 modem was working just fine until 4 days ago. I called Comcast and he said my Modem was faulty. I gave the modem for my friend to test and he said it would not work on his computer either. Well, I ordered another of the same model and when it arrived yesterday, it would not get recognized or be allowed to activate for online access. I called Comcast again, and they basically said the modem was giving out no signal. Finally, after going in circles with 4 different customer service reps, I finally found someone who answered my question. I was told that this Model is end of Life cycle in Comcast. Comcast actually stopped supporting my modem and killed my service without any notice. Basically my modem was fine and Comcast just decided to kill my connection and leave me without service. DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL IF YOU ARE USING COMCAST! If you Own this modem, be warned if it suddenly stops working. It is not your modem. Comcast is dropping support and doesn't care if your out of service until you get a newer modem..
簡而言之，根據這位點評者，該有線調製解調器在一個多月以前剛被COMCAST取消了支持，也就是說它不能再用於
COMCAST上網了！
不能把人往壞裏想，也許賣主並不知情，別人發現不能用了就送給他／她，而他／她想閑置也沒用，不如賣＄１５貼補家用。
總之，那個點評省去了我不必要的麻煩，否則我買回來，要走同樣的彎路，最後發現不能用。
不能總做別人點評的受益者，我於是立刻寫了這篇文章，提醒大家注意。並且在那個賣方的廣告下邊，加了個跟貼，把上
邊的點評登上去，讓所有對該有線調製解調器感興趣的潛在買主, 在買它之前都能有足夠的信息來做決定。
我得罪人了嗎？當然，所有那些拿著明知沒辦法用的有線調製解調器，卻還想賣給別人的人。特別是那個今天打開自己
