【簡介】：

　　 軍人的人生永遠與國家的命運、民族的興衰緊緊相連。

　　1964年夏，北京某火車站，夜幕籠罩下，兩個神秘的軍人正注視著上火車的大學生。火車上，宋朝和伍岩鬆意外機見，伍的戀人郭小豔和師弟向旗也在火車上，他們還認識了來自東北的技術工人孔漢川，大家還是猜測不出火車會把他們拉到哪裏去……

        宋朝、伍岩鬆為首的一大批研究生、本科生，在我國著名空氣動力學家、國防部專家組副組長郭莊教授的推薦下，一夜之間，從校園裏消失。來到荒涼的河灘上，接受了國家賦予他們的曆史使命：為共和國設計建造急需用於飛機、導彈、火箭等尖端武器研製的風洞，並為征服一個個科技難關付出了令常人難以想像的艱辛。
