範美忠地震中撇開學生自己逃跑，原屬本能的求生欲望，此並不足已引人憤恨。然彼卻在博客之中張揚，張張自喜，令人作惡。輿論雖分兩派，支持和反對俱有之，然本人腐朽，無法接受此人。故改編《阿甘正傳》中關於Forrest Gump跑的片斷，用於其人。
Slow motion -- Fan runs from the collapsing classroom. He looks over his shoulder in fear.
慢鏡頭：範正從倒塌的教室裏跑出來，透過肩膀往後看，眼神中充滿了恐懼。
The teaching building collapses faster as it gains on Fan, running.
教學樓倒塌得更快了，似乎可以追上正在衝刺的範。
Fan tries to run even faster to get away. Suddenly his legs are stumbled by a reinforcing steel bar, his pants torned and shattered, sending tatters flying into the air.
範使足了勁往前衝。突然他的雙腿被一根鋼筋絆住了，鋼筋撕碎了他的褲子，破的布條飛向了天空。
Fan runs and looks down at his legs in surprise.
範邊跑邊低頭驚異地看著自己的雙腿。
Fan continues to run faster as the tatters of his pants fly off his legs.
範繼續狂奔，破褲子的布條一片片的飛離他的雙腿。
Fan runs free of his pants and begins to pick up speed.
範開始裸奔，並開始加快速度。
The collapsed building covers the remains of Fan's pants.
倒塌的教學樓已經蓋住了他被撕爛的破褲條。
Fan: (voice-over) Now, you wouldn't believe it if I told you.
範（畫外音）：現在，你不會相信我所說的。
At the bus bench. 在公交車的候車處
Fan: But I can run like the wind blows.
範：我甚至能像風一樣的奔跑。
The woman waiting for bus continues to read her magazine. Fan smiles as he remembers.
等公交車的婦女仍專心於讀她的雜誌。範站在旁邊微笑著，還沉浸在回憶中。
Fan: From that day on, if I was going somewhere, I was running! And I wouldn't save any other person's life, even my mother and my wife, except my daughter.
範：從那以後，隻要我到一個地方，我就在跑。我不會去救任何人的生命，包括我的母親和妻子，除了我的女兒。
