Chery - Made In China

The San Jose Mercury News reported that cars MADE IN CHINA are coming to the Bay area by sometime next year.

A Chicago area dealer paid $2 million to have the rights to do business and set up shop here in my neighborhood. Who'd he pay the $2 million to? I don' think I am understanding something.

China's Chery car is being threatened by GM because the name of the car is similar to Chevy....uh...I guess Chavy, Chuvy, Chivy, Chovy, Chedy, Chefy, Chegy.....and anything else that starts with C and ends with Y.  If GM can't beat them outright, then they will sue them and make them spend a couple of million on changing the name plates before they get their butt's kicked.
