So, what else can be blamed on China?
Fortune magazine reported that Americans recycled 346lbs of paper per person (still not as much as some people weigh in the US) last year.
That amounts to more than half (52%) of all paper products that were discarded last year and a 76% increase in recycling since 1990.
The reason according to Fortune? The large demand for paper in markets overseas, including ...dum dum...China.
China is the buzz word, isn't it?
