美國人心中永遠的痛

七年前的今天，是美國政府及人民心中永遠的痛。就在這一天，當今這個世界上唯一的超級大國遭遇了迄今為止人類曆史上最為嚴重的恐怖襲擊。紐約世界貿易中心、美國國防部所在地——五角大樓先後遭到恐怖主義分子劫持的波音757、767飛機猛烈撞擊，導致世貿雙塔轟然倒塌，共造成3000多人死亡和失蹤。“9·11事件”被美國政府稱為是其曆史上第二次“珍珠港事件”。 

我曾經在世貿雙塔樓工作過三年，在那棟被後撞先塌的二號樓，房間號是1848，也就是說，在十八層。幸運的是，事發一年前（2000年），我離開了那裏，搬到了西部。
