From My Heart By Larissa Covato Read By Unknown
If I could only find the words To paint the picture in my heart I'd tell the world to stop and view My greatest single work of art.
I'd paint a glowing summer scene With golden sun and cloudless sky, And stately mountain looking on, Where miles of velvet meadow lie.
I'd paint a meadow green and free, As wide eyed as my childish ways, The warm and lustrous sun would keep Your kindess, strength and gentle praise.
The ancient mountain range Would guard the years You've helped me through. The sapphire dome of endless sky Would hold the love I have for you.
Alas, I have at my command But scribblings from a poet's hand. Just words to frame a work of art They are for you Drawn from my heart
