托斯卡太陽下 請點擊電影視頻：Under the Tuscan Sun 今天晚上我在《美語世界》論壇讀到京燕兒撰寫的《托斯卡太陽下》（Under the Tuscan Sun）書評和影評，這是美國作家Frances Mayes於1996年所寫的意大利之旅的回憶錄。京燕兒的文字真切自然，充滿了詩意和溫馨。雖然是書評，我仿佛在讀京燕兒。她在文中寫到：“而我們自己不也是勇敢地背井離鄉，到外國來追夢嗎？像Frances（書中的主人公）和Ed（Frances的男朋友）一樣，當年我和先生買下這片地蓋房子的時候經曆了多少興奮，在地裏種花種草種樹撒下了多少汗水。” 我也觀看了京燕兒分享的《托斯卡納太陽下》的電影視頻，Frances Mayes由Diane Lane扮演，Frances是美國舊金山的一名作家，人到中年的她，婚姻遭遇變故。Frances的好友Patti (由Sandra Oh扮演)為了幫助Frances擺脫離婚的陰影，送給她一張去意大利托斯卡納度假的機票。 Frances來到了托斯卡納小鎮San Casciano dei Bagni，那裏的向日葵是如此的燦爛，那裏的風景是如此的迷人，那裏的音樂是如此的悅耳。Frances買了一幢別墅，交了新的朋友，有意大利鄰居，波蘭裝修工，演員Catherine，也遇到了英俊的Marcello，開始了新的戀情，可惜沒有持續多久就結束了。 當Frances沮喪地走在羅馬的街上，無意地看到Catherine在噴泉下優雅地起舞時。最終，她們倆一起回到了Catherine的房間，Catherine對Frances說：“No matter what happens. Always keep your childish innocence. It's the most important thing. ”　 Frances心灰意冷地離開了Catherine的家，回到自己的別墅。這時，一對年輕的情侶向Frances求助，Frances說服了女方的家長，讓這對相愛的人終成眷屬，婚禮是在Frances的別墅舉行的。Frances在婚禮中，遇到了美國作家Ed。這段對話非常有意思，特摘錄如下： Frances：Do I know you? Ed: Not really. You reviewed one of my books once. Frances：Did I like it? Ed: Not very much. Frances：Oh, no. Ed: Don't worry. It was, by far, the very best bad review I've ever received. Frances：You're kidding. Ed: I'm not. It helped me get to my next book. Anyway, I've been traveling around Tuscany. Someone said that you lived up here. I'm Ed. Frances：Hi. I'm Frances. 電影是在奔馳的列車，Frances這段精彩的畫外音結尾的：“They say they built the train tracks over the Alps before there was a train that could make the trip. They built it anyway. They knew one day the train would come. Any arbitrary turning along the way, and I would be elsewhere. I would be different. What are four walls, anyway? They are what they contain. The house protects the dreamer. Unthinkably good things can happen, even late in the game.
