謝謝天方葉的點評。我昨天才知道龍應台的名字的由來，有趣。父親姓龍，母親姓應，出生在台灣，所以叫龍應台。”

我喜歡龍應台撰寫的《目送》，那份真摯的父女情流淌在她的筆下。我尤其喜歡文章的結尾：“我慢慢地、慢慢地了解到，所謂父女母子一場，隻不過意味著，你和他的緣分就是今生今世不斷地在目送他的背影漸行漸遠。你站立在小路的這一端，看著他逐漸消失在小路轉彎的地方，而且，他用背影默默告訴你：不必追。”

Ralph Waldo Emerson was an American essayist, lecturer, and poet, who led the Transcendentalist movement of the mid-19th century. His well-known essays were Self-Reliance, The Over-Soul, Circles, The Poet and Experience. Emerson developed certain ideas such as individuality, freedom, the ability for man to realize almost anything, and the relationship between the soul and the surrounding world. Emerson's "nature" was more philosophical than naturalistic; "Philosophically considered, the universe is composed of Nature and the Soul."
