端午節習俗

The Dragon Boat Festival, the 5th day of the 5th lunar month, has had a history of more than 2,000 years. It is usually in June in the Gregorian calendar.

端午節（農曆五月初五）是中國古老的傳統節日，始於春秋戰國時期，至今已有2000多年曆史。通常在陽曆的六月份。

端午節吃什麽？

“粽包分兩髻，艾束著危冠。舊俗方儲藥，羸軀亦點丹。”端午節不可不吃的美味食物就是粽子，這種傳統源於汨羅江邊的漁夫，將米丟入江中平息江中的蛟龍，希望它們不要傷害屈原。

Zong Zi：Glutinous rice filled with meat, nuts or bean paste and wrapped in bamboo leaves. It is associated with Dragon Boat Festival with historical meaning.The custom of eating Zong Zi is also popular in North and South Korea and Southeast Asian nations.

端午節喝什麽？

“櫻桃桑椹與菖蒲，更買雄黃酒一壺。”端午節嚐試一下雄黃酒吧。端午節這天，人們把雄黃倒入酒中飲用，並把雄黃酒塗在小孩兒的耳、鼻、額頭、手、足等處，希望這樣可以使孩子們不受蛇蟲的傷害。

Adults drink realgar wine, which can fend off evil spirits.

端午節玩什麽？

“鼓聲三下紅旗開，兩龍躍出浮水來。棹影斡波飛萬劍，鼓聲劈浪鳴千雷。”端午節最應景的節目就是賽龍舟。

Dragon boat racing is an indispensable part of the festival, held all over the country. As the gun is fired, people will see racers in dragon-shaped canoes pulling the oars harmoniously and hurriedly, accompanied by rapid drums, speeding toward their destination.

端午節戴什麽？

端午節最有特色的飾物就是香包。小孩佩戴香包，傳說有避邪驅瘟之意。用含有多種香味的藥用植物做成的香包也可以預防疾病。

On Dragon Boat Festival, parents also need to dress their children up with a sachet. They first sew little bags with colorful silk cloth, then fill the bags with perfumes or herbal medicines, and finally string them with silk threads. The sachet will be hung around the neck or tied to the front of a garment as an ornament. They are said to be able to ward off evil.

端午節掛什麽？

“不效艾符趨習俗，但祈蒲酒話升平。”

許多人相信五月是一年中容易引發疾病的危險時節，因此必須有許多防備家人生病的措施。端午節時，人們會將一種特別的植物-艾草掛在門口，作為保護之用。

Wow, 緣自知音真能幹，會包粽子。我能想象你包粽子的那份樂趣，有時包粽子比吃粽子更有趣。童年的記憶總是令人難以忘懷，謝謝分享。

我想起了和孩子們在家裏一起包餛飩，包水餃的情景了，孩子們包的餛飩和水餃千型百狀，五花八門，看著就好玩。我的原則是，隻要不露肉餡就可以了，開心快樂的包餃子。

是啊,在中國食品店買得到粽子的,所以都是買粽子過端午節,就是平時偶爾也會買粽子,節日氣氛遠遠沒有以前那麽濃. 在國內時,每當過端午節,都隻是看外婆家忙著包粽子,現在印象都很深. 父母來這裏看我們時,倒是包過幾次粽子的, 我也學著包,居然還挺象樣的.一些小小的習俗能親身經曆一下,都會感覺很有意思的.

我可以在中國食品店買到粽子的。

其實倒是挺懷念童年在國內，每當端午節來臨時，我母親就買來粽葉，在家裏給我們包粽子的情景了，這麽多年過去了，仿佛猶如昨天，曆曆在目。

還有就是去故鄉的小河，觀看龍舟比賽，那份熱鬧，興奮，激動，至今難忘。
