Vince Gill簡介

Vince Gill於1957年4月12日出生於美國奧克拉荷馬州的諾曼（Norman），原名Vince Grant Gill。Gill從10歲開始學習吉他，中學時代加入當地一支叫“山霧”（Mountain Smoke）的鄉村搖滾樂隊，後來加入樂隊Pure Prairie League擔任主唱。1983年推出首張個人專輯《Turn Me Loose》，專輯中的單曲“Victim of Life's Circumstances”在 1984年獲得鄉村排行的第四十名，並且奪得了“鄉村音樂學院”（ACM）的年度最佳新進男歌手大獎。

1992年夏天Vince Gill推出專輯《I Still Believe in You》，這張專輯在1993年為他奪下了該年度格萊美獎“最佳鄉村男歌手”的稱號，而專輯的同名主打歌曲也拿到了“年度最佳鄉村歌曲”獎項。除了在音樂方麵的成就，Vince Gill還熱心公益，積極參加各種慈善活動。（摘自網絡）
